The Gibbs Sisters (Short Bio)

 The Gibbs Sisters (Shawneé Gibbs & Shawnelle Gibbs) are an Emmy-nominated writing team with backgrounds in television, animation, and comics.  They have served as Lead Writers for Cartoon Network’s Jessica’s Big Little World, and have written for Dreamworks Animation, Disney Television Animation and Marvel Comics. Their YA graphic novel, Ghost Roast, garnered a Harvey Award nomination for Best Young Adult Book and an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Graphic Novel. Originally from Oakland, California, they currently work, live and play in Los Angeles.

Their mission is to use the power of narrative to uplift the world.
